Brand & Identity
2 disciplinesFounding identity built in 2016, extended every year through the 10th-anniversary edition in 2025. BB Roller Mono as the identity face (monospaced, always uppercase, used as texture against solid black). Electric green (#99FF33) as the signal cutting through. A logo system that grew from a single wordmark into a full vocabulary: horizontal lockup, stacked lockup, DX monogram, DX circle, DX arrow + year, IFF blocks, laurels (horizontal, stacked, fest-year-specific), 10th-anniversary seal.
Typography Systems
#typography-systemsFive-family stack covering identity (BB Roller Mono), utility (BB Roller Mono Text Soft), impact (Druk), body (Post Grotesk), and condensed accent (Acumin Variable). Each family has a defined voice and usage register. The system has held across a decade of festival material without dilution.
Digital Product
1 disciplineWeb Design
#web-designFestival website carrying the brand from print into screen with no loss of register. Same monospaced type, same electric green, same surveillance-inspired graphic system. Social-channel avatars and event-page headers run the same vocabulary.
Content & Editorial
1 disciplineEditorial Design
#editorial-designCo-branded film posters extended the DX identity to featured selections every year. The festival's typographic system paired with each film's own imagery: documentaries spanning Northern Ireland (No Stone Unturned, 2017), American roadside motels (Voyeur, 2017), and dozens more. The system flexes across wildly different subject matter while staying recognizably Double Exposure.
Environmental & IRL
1 disciplineEnvironmental Graphics
#environmental-graphicsStage design and theater lobby treatment for the festival itself. Wristbands, lanyards, pins, postcards, programs. Every piece a festivalgoer touches sits inside the same monospaced-green-on-black world.
Double Exposure exists because the stories that take the longest to uncover deserve the biggest screen.
