The Eastern Market Main Streets organization hired the Workhorse team to refresh the brand and create marketing collateral to showcase the area as a destination that supports small businesses.
Eastern Market is one of the oldest neighborhoods in DC, but the energy is modern and vibrant. Historic, energetic, and forward-thinking, Eastern Market feels like a small town within a big city–which makes it a great place to open a small business. However, Eastern Market Mainstreet’s branding did not communicate their history and connection effectively.
Inspired by the historic architecture and the neighborhood’s bright vibes, we created an identity that literally shines a light on this historic DC place to be.
