with a mega-storm about to roll through d.c., we figured it was a good time for some snowspiration. these pics from self-taught farmer wilson “snowflake” bentley – who took his first photograph in 1885 – represent a few things we love: entrepreneurship, noticing the details, negative space, and clean lines. all his images are public domain, so we’ll be checking out the rest this weekend while we’re buried under blankets and sipping hot cocoa.
