The book defines Motivo's voice as Warm and Welcoming, Certain, and Reassuring and Cheerful, then breaks it down into four operating rules (Sincere, Engaged, Straightforward, Clever). Each rule comes paired with in-practice usage and considerations. Three audience profiles (Supervisees, Supervisors, Partner Agencies) come with their own tonal adjustments. The book is the deliverable the in-house team will run on for years.

Brand & Identity

Pivoted the palette away from default healthcare blue and into a coral-and-vibrant-blue pairing carried by a warm illustrated character set. The character system did most of the welcoming work: pastel coral, yellow, and sky figures in candid, hand-up poses, dropped against a soft white surround.
Digital Product
1 shown / 1 totalRelaunched site in January 2019 carrying the new identity. The illustration system runs as the welcoming surface; the voice rules carry through every product string. The site gave a first-of-kind platform the look of an investment-ready, Series-stage company.
We love the challenge of building brands for ground-breaking new products. It offers us a unique opportunity to think about what is possible, not what is expected.
